About Panda:

At 6’5” and 300+ pounds, former BGSU defensive lineman Matt Leininger, aka “Panda”, is a BIG body that produces a BIG voice with an even BIGGER presence. When it comes to big-time experiences, Panda knows how to meet them because he’s lived them since a young age. From his time under the lights as a Division I football player for Urban Meyer, to his multitude of experiences on the microphone for high-level games across the spectrum of sports, Panda brings both an innate feel for what the moment calls for and meets it with the joy and enthusiasm the fans deserve.

Entering his 18th year behind a microphone, and 15th in professional baseball, 2026 marks his second year as “Panda of the Party Animals”, traveling across the country on tour as the official voice of Banana Ball’s bad boys in pink and black. Having both played and hosted in front of crowds over 100,000+ people, there’s no stadium or event too big for Panda.
